Chiropractic Care
We specialize in correcting your body’s misalignments. Our goal is to ensure that your spine and the rest of your body are working harmoniously. To do so, we will help you develop a plan that will require light stretching, some exercise, chiropractic care, and a healthy diet.
Cold Laser Therapy
Laser therapy is a treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue and help accelerate your healing process. Laser treatment can be used on people suffering from acute and chronic conditions in order to eliminate pain and swelling, increase functionality, and reduce spasms.
Custom Orthotics
Custom foot orthotics are designed to align the foot and ankle into the most anatomically efficient position. They look similar to insoles, but are biomedical appliances that are custom made to correct your specific foot imbalance. The plastic body of the custom orthotic helps to re-align the foot while you walk. We understand that everyone is different, which is why custom foot orthotics are made just for you.
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is the manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person’s health and well-being. There are many types of massage therapy methods (also called modalities). People seek massage therapy for a variety of reasons; for example, to reduce stress and anxiety, to relax muscles, to rehabilitate injuries, to reduce pain and to promote overall health and wellness.
Pre/Postnatal Chiropractic
Here at Chiropractic USA, we offer a conservative approach to treating pregnant women. Our prenatal care is gentle and safe. We aim to alleviate the stress and strains of pregnancy while improving comfort for both the mother and baby. We understand the physical changes that come with pregnancy, and we offer relief without using any drugs.
Spinal Decompression
Spinal decompression is a non-invasive mechanical procedure performed within our office to help alleviate back pain. It involves gently stretching the spine to take pressure off the spinal discs (the cushions that separate the vertebrae in the spine). By relieving this pressure, bulging discs can retract back into place which takes pressure off the nerves in the spine. By decompressing the spine, it permits water, oxygen and other fluids to work their way back into the discs allowing them to heal naturally. Spinal decompression is an excellent option for anyone with chronic back pain who wants to get back to living a pain-free life as quickly as possible.
X-Rays
One of the most important elements of chiropractic care is diagnostics. Chiropractic radiology is a tool utilized in care as a diagnostic practice to rule out pathology (such as possible tumor or fracture) and/or an additional aid to determine where to adjust the spine. Chiropractors rely on a variety of diagnostic techniques in order to fully understand what is occurring in the patient’s musculoskeletal system, and how a given treatment intervention could bring about positive results in each patient.
Radial Pulse Shockwave
At Chiropractic USA, we are happy to offer our patients Shockwave therapy as an additional non-invasive option for treating chronic pain. Shockwave therapy works by emitting an acoustic wave through a handheld device into areas where you are experiencing pain. The high energy produced by the device reaches deep into your tissues, tendons, and bones to promote regeneration and the natural healing processes of your body.
Some of the conditions we can treat with Shockwave therapy include:
- Jumper’s knee
- Shoulder pain
- Tennis elbow
- Heel spur
- Insertional pain
- Chronic tendinopathy
- Medial tibial stress syndrome
- Calcifications
- Hip pain
Shockwave therapy is non-invasive and can provide immediate relief from your painful symptoms. During the appointment, our chiropractor will locate the area to be treated by palpating. After the pain is isolated, a gel will be applied to the area, which helps to transfer the acoustic waves through the tissue. Once a sufficient amount of gel is applied, the Shockwave applicator is gently pressed to the treatment area, and treatment can begin. Treatment generally lasts about five minutes.
During treatment, you may feel minor discomfort depending on the severity of your pain. If it becomes too uncomfortable for you, please let your chiropractor know so that the intensity can be adjusted. Afterward, we recommend you refrain from activities that may irritate the treatment area for 48 hours. Depending on your particular condition, we recommend between 3 and 5 treatments, which are done 3-10 days apart.
